How do I upload my web pages to my account?
We recommend using an FTP client like CuteFTP or WS_FTP. A demo version of CuteFTP or a FREEWARE version of WS_FTP can be downloaded from download sites such as TUCOWS. Alternatively such software is very often on the cover mounted CDs of computer magazines such as .net  

What is my FTP host name / address?
Your hostname is yourdomain.co.uk.   top

 

What is my FTP username and password?
Your username is the one you confirmed in our email to you. Your password is also the one you supplied in your original application, unless you have changed it using the control panel.   top

 

What other settings do I need?
Initial Remote Directory - it is important that you set this to "/web" (without the " s) to ensure that you upload in the right place.

Please make sure that when you transfer HTML and PERL scripts that you select the ASCII protocol, and when you transfer binary/image files you select the binary protocol. top
